Tara and Nick’s North Tahoe Event Center Wedding

North Lake Tahoe has so many amazing wedding venues, it would be impossible for me to choose a favorite, but the North Tahoe Event Center is up there for sure. Of course it has a great view of Lake Tahoe, but it also has beautiful, bright indoor spaces, an amazing staff and is easily accessible from Tahoe City, Incline Village and Truckee. So, naturally when Tara contacted me way back in early 2024 for her June 2025 wedding, I was thrilled to be her photographer! By the time their big day came around, Tara and Nick were already married, but that made their ceremony all the more fun, laid-back and totally them.

If you know me, you know that I don’t like cake. I really don’t. Does that make me crazy? I don’t really think so but you can decide that for yourself. When Tara and Nick told me they had hired an ICE. CREAM. TRUCK. I was beyond stoked and you knoooooooow I ran immediately to grab my custom sundae as soon I was done working. The Sierra Sprinkle has the cutest, vintage set-up and are just the sweetest (pun-intended) people you could ever meet.
